Sophea Seng is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She is an expert translator, field researcher, teacher, and logistics coordinator for USAID and other donor coordinated projects in Cambodia. Her work includes technical expertise in agriculture, CTIP, education, mental health, disability rights, labor, and health care sectors.
Ms. Seng offers evaluation, MTR, and field research support. She is trained in the use of the CTIP Ethical Code, which qualifies her to work with survivors of human trafficking and nonconsensual sex work. Over the course of her career, she has gained a great amount of experience working with marginalized groups such as the disabled community, PLWH, and indigenous peoples.
Ms. Seng possesses a broad social network encompassing the government sector (national and local), NGO/CSO sector, media and local communities, and service providers. She is highly adaptable and works in multiple project roles, including interpreter, research team member, logistics advisor, and team leader. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Khmer Literature from the Royal Phnom Penh University.
